The QT Scan is self-pay, with no referral needed and no surprise bills. It is not currently covered by insurance, but many women use HSA or FSA funds.

Within days, not weeks. Every scan is read by a board-certified radiologist trained in QT technology, then explained to you in plain language.

All women, and it is especially valuable for women with dense breast tissue, women who want to avoid radiation, women with screening anxiety or past traumatic experiences, and women monitoring their breast health more frequently.

A radiologist provides a formal report with recommendations based on the finding and your history. If a lesion appears suspicious, we generally recommend further evaluation, which may include biopsy. If it appears more likely benign, we may recommend a short-interval follow-up scan, typically 90–120 days, to measure growth and doubling time. This approach is designed to reduce unnecessary biopsies, overdiagnosis, and overtreatment.

For many women it becomes their preferred scan. Depending on your history and any findings, your provider may still recommend additional imaging, and we will always be honest with you about what your situation calls for.
